A mission of the African Union headed by Congolese Foreign Minister Jean Claude Gakosso has arrived in the Libyan capital Tripoli. Sudan has threatened to lodge an official claim to the regional and international institutions against Egypt. This is following the alleged Egyptian armament to the Sudanese rebels in the Darfur region. The Sudanese foreign ministry has further accused Cairo of non-commitment to the de-escalation agreement signed between the two sides last April.
